The Audit and Risk Committee was established to assist the BEDB’s Board members in fulfilling their oversight responsibilities for:

• the identification and management of enterprise risks process
• the financial reporting process
• the system of internal control
• the audit process, and
• the BEDB’s process for monitoring compliance with laws and regulations.
